  finish: I always use satin...it goes on easier than eggshell but isn't too shiny like semi-gloss.


Zinssers 1,2,3 Primer
  I love this stuff. It will stick to any surface. Any piece that I don't want to sand first or that has a finish on it already I will use this.

  I use the wipe-on version on my bigger furniture pieces. It gives a thicker coat when you wipe it on.
